Prof.Dr.Jacob John is a highly trained and Internationally recognized Consultant – Specialist Orthodontist. He is well known for his state of art procedures in the field of Orthodontic treatment across Qatar, Oman and India and has over 16 years of experience of this field.

Prof.Dr.Jacob John completed his B.D.S from Farooqia Dental College Mysore ,then presumed his Master Degree from J.S.S Dental College and Hospital Mysore. He has completed specialized training in orthodontics from Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK ,Royal College Of Surgeons of Ireland and Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow.

Prof.Dr.Jacob John is the Head of the Department in Dentistry in WIMS Medical College,Wayanad.He serves as a Professor and Postgraduate Guide for Masters training programme in Orthodontics for 16 years. Presently he is a recognized guide for Ph.D scholars in speciality of Orthodontics. Prof.Dr.Jacob has authored and co-authored over 20 peer-reviewed publications, 2 academic books and has presented 12 scientific papers internationally. He served as the Chief editor for the 45 th Indian Orthodontic Society’ International Conference in 2010. He has chaired scientific sections of various national and international orthodontic conferences. Prof. Dr. Jacob’s main clinical innovations are functional appliance therapy, Finishing techniques in Orthodontics, invisaligner, self-ligating braces and training Orthodontic speciality. He delivers a wide range of quality orthodontic treatments for various orthodontic problems including skeletal growth deformities and all sorts of orthodontic malocclusions with advanced mechanics. He is a trained specialist orthodontist for Incognito Lingual Bracket System from Germany and Certified Orthodontist for invisalign aligner technology. Presently he is a member of British Orthodontic Society.
